This article presents a ‘10% rule’ for as determining a ‘goal weight’ to aim for. The idea is that you take 10% of your current weight and have that be your first goal for weight loss. From there, they suggest to take a break from weight loss in order to let your body adjust to the new ’set point’. I would suggest that rather than take a break from weight loss (why stop a good thing once you have it in motion???), re-assess your goals and keep truckin’.
Once you are ‘on a roll’ in a positive direction, don’t stop!
